*** Rough Draft Review ***
The negotiation committee will be reviewing the rough draft of the collective bargaining agreement, which passed the contract vote, in early February. We will sit down, and read through the entire contract, to ensure the rough draft of what will be printed and passed out to the membership, reflects what has changed with the latest negotiations and collective bargaining agreement. Please have patience with your committee, and the company at this time-- there is still much to be discussed by both sides on how to handle and roll out the changes.
*** Special LOCAL LODGE MEETING ***
Attention all eligible members: Your negotiation committee met with Howmet Aerospace on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
Your attendance is requested on Thursday, November 16th at the White Eagle Hall at 11:00 AM, for a special local lodge meeting, called by the negotiation committee.
Attendance is requested by all eligible lodge members currently on strike against HFS-KINGSTON.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not reach out to members of the negotiation committee before the meeting. Questions will be answered at the meeting, and not before.
Local Lodge Members, which are not regular dues paying members, such as retirees, are requested to relieve the lodge membership from the picket line at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 16th 2023, and hold the line until the special meeting is adjourned.

Attention all eligible members: Your negotiation committee met with Howmet Aerospace on Monday, October 30, 2023.
Current collective bargaining agreement is in effect until 12:00 A.M. on November 1, 2023.
Your attendance is requested on Tuesday, October 31st at the White Eagle Hall, for our collective bargaining agreement discussion and vote.
The committee will present the latest contract, in writing, at 3:30 PM
Attendance is requested by all eligible lodge members currently employed by HFS-KINGSTON; YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AND RESPONSIBILITY TO VOTE.

Collective BARGAINING Agreement vote
Attention all eligible members: Your negotiation committee will be in negotiations with Howmet Fastening Systems, from October 23rd thru October 27th, 2023.
Current collective bargaining agreement is in effect until 12:00 A.M. on November 1, 2023.
Your attendance is required on Saturday, October 28th at the White Eagle Hall, for our collective bargaining agreement discussion and vote.
The committee will present the latest contract, in writing, starting at 8 AM.
Refreshments will be provided.
Formal discussions on the matter will begin promptly at 10 AM, with a vote on the Collective Bargaining Agreement to follow afterwards. Attendance is required by all eligible lodge members currently employed by HFS-KINGSTON; YOU HAVE THE RIGHT AND RESPONSIBILITY TO VOTE.

Howmet Fastening Systems was notified on march 13, 2023 of our Local Lodge Negotiation Committee
As per our Local Lodge bylaws, section 2(c): The 4th member of th Collective Bargaining committee (excepting the President); shall be an elected position per the IAM Consitution. The top three voted Grievance (Plant) Committee members shall be automatic, as the President, to all Collective Bargaining Commitees. (Bargaining Unit nominations are to be in by February of a contract year, with elections in March of the same year.)

We will be putting out a survey/questionnaire within the next week in order to prioritize, strategize, and get a better sense of our members wants and needs. Please keep an eye out for it! All feedback is appreciated!
